The aim of the course is to prepare you for industry, teaching you the basic skills needed to work in a hair salon performing cutting and styling services.
This qualification is based on National Occupational Standards, it covers all the core skills you will need to progress to further learning and training, or to enter the world of work within the hairdressing industry.
At Middlesbrough College, you will be trained by experienced tutors, learning the skills and techniques to carry out high quality treatments in one of seven professionally equipped hair and beauty salons on-site.
