We provide our students with access to high-quality facilities to ensure their overall learning experience at Middlesbrough College runs as smooth as possible.
Set over two floors, our main building Learning Resources Centre has over 30,000 books and over 170 open access computers, with a team of qualified and experienced staff on hand to help. Printers, scanners and photocopiers are accessible on both floors, sitting alongside a Silent Study room and a Quiet Study Room, specialist resources for Careers, ESOL and the visually impaired and study space. Floor 1 supports Curriculum 360, the College’s blended learning, with 3 designated PC areas.
As well as providing the above learning resources, we feel it’s also important that we give a helping hand to our students to make the most of our facilities!
In September and January, we provide £6 printing credit to all (extra can be purchased from the LRC desk).
When it comes to accessing and reserving required resources, learners are able to book and find out further information via the library enquiry desks and roving support staff. Information skills training sessions can also be organised in the LRC.
