MC6 student Harley Mason has received a conditional offer for a Professional Economist degree apprenticeship with the Bank of England. He will be based in London and complete his economics degree with the University of Kent.
Harley joined Middlesbrough College, to study A Level Maths and Business, from another college in the local area where he obtained his Economics A Level.
He said, “Coming to Middlesbrough College was a fresh start for me, I didn’t really know anyone here, but that allowed me to get my head down and focus on my A Levels over the past year.
“My experience at the College has been great, my teachers have been so helpful and supportive and I’m feeling confident heading into my final exams.
“I’m looking forward to starting my apprenticeship and starting my career. I’ve always had an interest in banking and finance and knew that it’s what I wanted to go into. After my apprenticeship I want to pursue banking further.”
