Retrain Diploma in Welding Engineering – Level 3

This is a 34 week course, studied between September to June.

Learners will be in college for 11 hours per week.

Days and times will be dependent on the learner groups and can be discussed during the application process with the course leader.

You must have acheived four GCSEs at Grade 3 (D) or above, including maths, English language and science, or have achieved Level 2 qualification in welding.

For these qualifications candidates will be required to complete the following assessments:

• Five practical assignments for each mandatory unit
• One GOLA on-line underpinning knowledge test for each mandatory unit

The qualifications provide knowledge and/or practical skills related to the NVQ Level 3.

On completion of these qualifications candidates may progress into employment or to the following City & Guilds qualifications:

• Certificate in Engineering (2800)
