Fashion Communication – Level 3

Studies will include:

• Fashion Communication
• Critical & Contextual Awareness
• Fashion Production and the Supply Chain
• Collaborative Fashion Retail Project

In addition English and maths will be developed and assessed.

September – June

You must have achieved an appropriate Level 2 vocational qualification and/or five GCSEs at grade 4/5 (C) or above including English language.

You will be assessed by a variety of methods including, written assignments, presentations, discussion, sketchbook development, mood boards and oral questioning.

An individual final major project will be chosen by the student and lecturer.

You can progress onto the Extended Diploma in Fashion Business and Communication, a foundation degree or directly into employment.

The College Careers Service is available to all our students. We can help you when deciding which course or option you wish to take. During your course we ensure you develop employability skills and gain relevant experience. We provide information, advice and support when completing your course and progressing to work or going into further education.

Tuition fees are free if you are a UK or home-fee status student and aged 16-18 on the 31st August before the start of your course.

All full time students will be offered a number of options to secure at least 10 days of meaningful work experience during the year. This is an important aspect of the course and will help to develop your skills to get a job, progress to a higher level qualification at Middlesbrough College or potentially gain a place at university.
