Creative and Music Production – Level 1

Modules offered may vary.

Modules could include:

• 28 Sound Recording Skills
• 29 MIDI and Audio Techniques
• 30 Exploring Digital Photography
• 34 Sound and Audio Production
• 36 Using a Camera and Accessories

Skills will include:

• DAW skills
• Working in a Team
• Time Management Skills
• Improving own Learning and Performance

In addition English and maths will be developed and assessed.

September – June

You must have achieved four GCSEs at grade 2-1 (E-F) or above.

You will be assessed through practical and written coursework, marked by tutors and moderated by the examining board.

There is no exam on this course.

There are numerous opportunities in Further Education. You can progress to a relevant Level 2 then L3 creative courses. .

Pursuing careers in areas such as: Studio Technician / Engineer, Studio Designer, Music Producer.

You will need a pair of closed back headphones with a quarter inch adaptor.

Tuition fees are free if you are a UK or home-fee status student and aged 16-18 on the 31st August before the start of your course.
