Course overview

This course will give you an understanding of aspects of music recording, production and promotion skills and will prepare you for the reality of the sector and the progression paths available to you.

You will develop creative, practical and theoretical skills in the following areas: Sound Recording, MIDI and Audio Techniques, Digital Photography, Working in a Team through various projects.

Alongside these, you will develop organisation and time management skills which are needed to work in this industry.
There are no exams on this course, as all work undertaken is assignment based.

Explore Music Production

Music students can benefit from three recording studios connected to five control rooms (two equipped for surround sound), the largest of which can hold an orchestra. The studios are equipped with industry standard equipment and resources.
