Course overview
This Level 4 Construction Design and Build Technician apprenticeship is suitable for those who are going to work for clients, consultancies, and contractors. Construction Design and Build Technicians are associated with the co-ordination of design information on construction projects and are based on construction sites with occasional time in offices.All candidates
should have a creative and analytical outlook that can be applied to the workplace.
On programme qualification includes Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Engineering (Construction and the Built Environment).
The apprenticeship consists of work based and classroom learning to support learners though their on-programme qualifications and end point assessment.

Construction students will have the opportunity to work in state of the art workshops, and have access to a real life outdoor construction site. This realistic work environment allows students to gain practical experience in constructing a single story dwelling which is built from foundations up to the roof.
