A one of a kind mobile training facility turned heads as it stopped on Teesside.
The trailer – the same kind used by formula one teams – is home to a cutting edge training facility complete with instruments, labs and seminar space.
The latest leg of VEGATRUCK’s UK tour, which includes a 60m2 exhibition space, saw it stop off at TTE Technical.
The international training firm – which is part of the Middlesbrough College Group – featured the mobile training facility at a recent open day, allowing engineering students to get on-site training and hands on with the state-of-the-art technology.
Visitors were invited to take a tour of the training centre to find out about the wide range of technical training programmes and apprenticeships available at TTE.
John Cooke, operations manager at TTE, said: “It was great for TTE to be one of only a handful of stops for the VEGATRUCK and it gave students an opportunity to get hands on with high-quality equipment.
“The truck’s facilities were fantastic and the sessions were really in-depth, interesting and provided learners with valuable information about measurement technology. It showed future students who were attending the open day the opportunities that are available here at TTE.”
TTE Technical is the UK’s leading provider of technical training to the oil and gas, process, manufacturing and engineering sectors, delivering over 200 full-time study programmes along with international training. Click here to find out more about TTE.
