Entry requirements

You should have achieved at least five 9-5 grades at GCSE (not equivalents), including English language and maths. An average GCSE point score of 5.5 recommended (only GCSE grades for this score, not equivalents). A grade 4/5 or higher in combined science or 5 in biology GCSE is recommended.

There are three 2 hour written exams at the end of the second year. All papers are assessed with multiple choice, short answers and extended writing.

University Opportunities: Past students have progressed to study degrees in psychology, sociology, criminology, law, marketing, business, education early childhood professional studies, health, wellbeing and social care and social work.
Career Opportunities: Career opportunities include psychology, therapy, healthcare, police force, probation officer, community work, marketing, counselling, social work and teaching.

Tuition fees are free if you are a UK or home- fee status student and aged 16-18 on the 31st August before the start of your course.

If you are aged 19 or over, you may be required to pay fees depending on your residency status, educational background and personal circumstances.
