We offer a wide range of full-time study routes for 16-18 year olds to follow on from GCSEs. The best route for you depends on various factors, from how you like to learn to the career you want and what you want to do after college.

Middlesbrough College isn’t just for school leavers; we offer a wide range of part-time courses for adult learners to expand their skills and develop in their careers.

We offer essential skills in English, maths and digital, retrain courses, ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages), skill academies, and short-courses to refine your skills.

You don’t have to go far to go further. Located on our Middlehaven campus, University Centre Middlesbrough guides you towards a future full of possibilities, which is why we’ve designed our courses to align with industry needs.

Whether you choose to study with us full-time, part-time, or as part of an apprenticeship, our degree-level courses ensure you graduate with the skills and knowledge employers want.

If you prefer to learn while you earn, we offer a wide range of apprenticeships across multiple industries. You will spend 80% of your time working for an employer, gaining hands-on experience, and usually 20% in the classroom, developing job-specific knowledge while working towards a recognised qualification.
