A Levels are a great option if you are looking to progress to university and allow you to keep your options open with focused study. Subjects are studied over two years and assessed through examinations. MC6 students can choose 3 or 4 level subjects, or combine A Level subjects with A Level equivalent courses.

A Levels
A Levels are perfect if you want to study an academic subject at university. They keep your options open while allowing you to focus on your chosen subjects. You’ll study three or four subjects over two years, with your final grades assessed by exams.
A Level Equivalent Courses
A Level equivalent courses provide a solid foundation for further academic study, ideal if you have a passion for a specific area and enjoy practical-based learning. They prepare you for a range of future opportunities, including continued study at university or employment. Each course counts as one of your three courses.
T Level Science
Our T Level Science qualification is equivalent to three A Levels and offers an excellent pathway into the science sector. it provides a strong foundation in scientific principles while keeping your future options open, whether you’re aiming for university, an apprenticeship or a technical career in science.
Entry Requirements
To study A Levels at MC6, you will need to have five GCSEs at grade 4/5 or above, with some subjects requiring grade 5 or above. GCSE English language and mathematics are also required, and potentially at higher grades depending on the subject choice.
