Welding Academy

This course covers both MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and Stick welding techniques, providing you with practical knowledge and experience in a real-world industry environment.

Learners will achieve the following qualifications:

• HABC L1 Award Personal Development for Employability
• Level 1 Introductory to Welding Skills

Learners will receive upon successful completion of the course an opportunity to progress on to our 4-week Level 3 Welding bootcamp.

Various start dates available. Learners will study Monday – Friday, 9.30am – 3.30pm, for 3 weeks.

• Applicants must be aged 19+
• Must be a Tees Valley resident
• Must bring proof of benefit to enrolment session
• Applicants who have not lived in the UK or EU since birth must bring proof of residency, e.g. passport (3 years old) or residence permit.
• Must have achieved Entry Level 3 in English

Individuals must be aged 19 or over, unemployed or employed and earning under £33,210 per annum to receive full funding.
