Course overview
This engaging and motivating Vocationally Related Qualification (VRQ) is generally aimed at learners 16-18 years old who have a keen interest to learn about maintenance and repair associated with a range of automotive sectors; examples are:
- Accident repair
- Light and heavy vehicle
- Motorcycle and leisure craft
- Land-based engineering including agricultural machinery, construction and plant-based machinery
You will study health and safety practices in vehicle maintenance, tools, equipment and materials for vehicle maintenance, spark ignition engine systems, components and operations and vehicle electrical foundation skills.
