The Middlesbrough College Group is delighted to announce an extension to its partnership with Middlesbrough Football Club!

It’s hoped that the extension will drive awareness and encourage local students to progress into full-time education or learn as an apprentice.

Middlesbrough College Principal, Zoe Lewis, said: “We are thrilled to renew our partnership with Middlesbrough Football Club this year. We are grateful for the opportunity to support our home club for another season and to develop our already strong relationship.

“Middlesbrough is flourishing, and the club is a cornerstone of our community, uniting fans from all over the region, including many of our staff and students. We wish the team every success in the upcoming season.”

Middlesbrough College is the largest college in Teesside, offering a range of full and part-time courses, Access and University level courses, and apprenticeships.

Since relocating to Middlehaven in 2008, Middlesbrough College has continued to develop a range of outstanding facilities and equipment and are proud to have one of the best college campuses in the UK. This includes the recent opening of the new £12m state-of-the-art TTE Training Centre.

Boro Head of Commercial Liam McGuinness said: “We’re delighted to extend our partnership with Middlesbrough College.

“We already have strong links with the college and we’re all hoping that the increased visibility our partnership brings will have a positive effect on the community, and make more people aware about the opportunities that the college can offer.”

As an Associate Partner, Middlesbrough College branding will be featured on LEDs, the big screen and on the concourses on a matchday.
