Peta Taylor

Meet Sport Lecturer Peta Taylor!
“After I completed my GCSE’s I went on to complete my VTCT in Sports Injury Management and Rehabilitation at Middlesbrough College. I then took some time out to go travelling and when I returned to the UK I completed my BSc (hons) in Sports Therapy at Teesside University. During my time at University I also completed a work placement role at Mowden Park RFC which helped kick start my career in sport.
“Since graduating I have worked at a number of professional and semi professional football clubs including Hartlepool United FC. At the moment I am currently the Lead Sports Therapist at Redcar Athletic FC as well as owning my own sports therapy clinic.
“I decided recently that I’d love to take up a new challenge and since I enjoyed my time as a student at Middlesbrough College so much I thought this would be the ideal place for me to teach and pass on my in-industry knowledge to a new generation of sport therapists. I feel very lucky to be able to not only work in the industry I do, but to also be able to teach a group of passionate, like-minded people.
“I love being part of Middlesbrough College! The support network here is fantastic and the environment of the College is great. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a fulfilling job.
“In my spare time I love being around my family, training and watching anything to do with true crime.”
