“I completed my degree programme with Middlesbrough College in July 2020 and graduated with a first class honours qualification.
“I would definitely recommend this course to others. The teaching from my tutors was fantastic. They made every lesson interesting and made the experience fun and enjoyable. My tutors were approachable and I felt I could speak with them if I did not understand certain aspects of the lessons. Student interaction was encouraged during lessons which allowed a varied view of experiences to be shared.
“The support I received, especially during the pandemic lockdown was second to none. During this difficult time of limited tuition, the tutors reassured us they were available for support, either through telephone call or through teams and zoom meetings.
“I had completed the Level 3 Early Years Educator course at Middlesbrough College and decided to progress to study my degree here- I’m so glad I chose to do this.
“Due to my degree success at Middlesbrough College, I am now studying for a Masters degree in Education. I learnt a lot at Middlesbrough College which has helped me to develop my practice and teaching skills. I am an Early Years Practitioner, working in a childcare setting on domestic premises. I have worked in early years for seven years now and hope to eventually teach early years to Higher Education students.
“The staff and students at the College added to the whole experience and the sense of belonging- I loved my time studying with Middlesbrough College.”
