After completing my BA (Hons) Social Sciences degree at another provider located in Durham, I was keen to continue my studies.
I was recommended the BSc (Hons) Health, Wellbeing and Social Care (Top Up) course at Middlesbrough College, so decided to apply.
The course was fantastic. It was quite a big leap from my foundation degree, especially balancing my time around being a mum and working part-time, but it was so rewarding!
The tutors were so motivating and were always keen to offer support, with additional lessons being held if the class felt necessary. If it wasn’t for the guidance available throughout the course, I wouldn’t be where I am today!
The facilities at the College are also fantastic – there’s everything you need under one roof!
Since completing the course I’ve managed to secure a position in Australia where I will be studying the link between obesity and mental health alongside two Doctors – I can’t wait.
