Partnering with employers, providers, and local authorities, these Skills Bootcamps address local skills demands across various industries.
And the best part? These short courses are free for those who are self-employed, and heavily discounted for businesses looking to upskill their workforce; 10% contribution for small businesses with under 250 employers, and 30% contribution for businesses with over 250 employees.

Who are Skills Bootcamps for?
Skills Bootcamps are designed for individuals with a solid understanding of their chosen subject, as the courses are offered at intermediate and advanced levels (Levels 3 to 5).
Self-employed? These courses can help you enhance your career and secure more work.
Employer? Skills Bootcamps can help you enhance your career and secure more work.
To be eligible for our Skills Bootcamps, learners must be aged 19 or older, live in the Tees Valley*. Skills Bootcamps are available to local businesses wanting to upskill and progress current employers. We offer a range of courses that specialise in a variety of courses to support your business.

Are they completely free?
If you’re an employer looking to use Skills Bootcamps to train your workforce, a small contribution is required; 10% for small businesses with under 250 employees and 30% for businesses with over 250 employees.
For self-employed learners who meet the eligibility requirements, these courses are fully funded.
Is the course content up to date?
Absolutely. Our courses are developed in collaboration with industry experts to ensure they meet current industry standards. We regularly review and update our content, and we also involve employers in the process. This ensures that what you learn is always up to date and can be applied in your work immediately.

- Construction Streetworks Supervisor – Level 4
Note: Skills Bootcamp provision is subject to change in line with employer demands. We also cannot guarantee enrolment on to programme until initial assessments are complete and you have met with our curriculum teams. Please read individual course information pages for entry requirements.
