History is a fascinating subject and an excellent choice for those who are curious about the past. As part of this course, you will learn more about significant events throughout history in a wide range of contexts and how they have impacted the world as we know it today.
Our History course will help you gain a deeper understanding of the past through political, social, economic and cultural perspectives. You will study a wide range of engaging topics, providing you with the knowledge and skills required to succeed as an A Level historian. Topics include politics, society, and economy and foreign affairs to put together a picture of change over time. You will also investigate the value of sources and how convincing we find the arguments made by historians
