Our Film Studies A Level course is designed to develop your understanding of how film mirrors society, people, and concepts. It also gives you the opportunity to challenge your own creativity through a range of film techniques!
Our A Level Film Studies will introduce you to a wide variety of films from around the world and across different production eras. You will learn the language of film and develop the ability to identify how a film is communicating and interpret the messages created.
You will also explore how stories are told, how characters are created and question why films from different countries and eras present these stories and characters. To further your understanding of Film language, you will develop film visualisation skills through creating your own film ideas through screenwriting, storyboards and film making.
