Course overview
This course covers a wide range of technical practical skills and knowledge required to work as a hair stylist in a salon providing colouring and perming services. You will complete 30 hours industry salon experience, working with local employers to help you gain the skills and experience required. You will study a range of modules including the principles of hairdressing, how to treat the hair and scalp, styling, setting and dressing hair and cutting hair using basic techniques.
