A Level Biology is the perfect stepping stone to future scientific study. It also opens the doors to a wide range of interesting and rewarding career opportunities in the science sector!
Biology is a dynamic subject, and so we teach it in a lively and varied way! Throughout this course, you will carry out a range of practical investigations that will give you the skills and confidence to analyse and evaluate data from experiments and draw conclusions about the way living things work and behave.
Modules offered may include biological molecules, Microbiology (effects of antibiotics on bacteria), DNA & enzymes, cell structures and cell division, immune system, ecosystems, gene technology, biodiversity, Urine analysis and diabetes, inheritance and genetics, and more!
