We caught up with Sport & Exercise Science Alumni, Daniel Lodge!
“I really enjoyed my time at Middlesbrough College! My tutors were fantastic, and they helped me on my journey to university. The teaching staff are very keen on seeing students’ progress and being well prepared for their next journey which was really encouraging. Once I did start university, I had a head start having knowledge of a lot of the subjects already.
“Alongside my studies, I was part of the College football team, and I met some great friends through that. I loved being able to play a sport alongside my studies and the facilities we used were great! Everyone at the College was so welcoming and friendly, it has a fantastic atmosphere.
“From what I saw when I was looking at Colleges, Middlesbrough College by far had the best facilities. Once I had a look around, I knew this was the right place for me.
“For the past five years I have been running my own Physiotherapy/Rehab Clinic in Redcar which has been hard work but extremely rewarding. I have recently employed my first staff member which will hopefully allow my business to grow as we take on more clients.
“I hope to one day open multiple Physiotherapy clinics and hire more members of staff.”
