Information, Advice and Guidance Skills Bootcamp – Level 3

• Understand the principles of effective information, advice, and guidance.
• Develop practical communication and interpersonal skills to support diverse client needs.
• Learn to assess and respond to client requirements, fostering empowerment and informed decision-making.
• Explore professional boundaries, ethical considerations, and the importance of confidentiality.

Online study on Wednsdays, 5pm -9pm, plus independent learning hours.

Face-to-face assessments at your place of work.

While there are no formal entry requirements, suitability recoomendations stated below.

• Must be in employment in a related sector
• Have already completed a Level 2 Certificate in Information, Advice or Guidance
• Deliver information, advice or guidance and who want recognition for the work that they do
• Are Personal Advisors in the Welfare to Work sector who may need to develop their skills in providing personalised support.

Upon completion, learners will be equipped to deliver high-quality, client-centred advice and guidance services, helping clients achieve their goals and make informed decisions. This course serves as a strong foundation for further development in advisory roles and supports career progression in a variety of sectors. Those who complete may wish to progress on to Level 4 IAG qualifications.

Learners will require access to IT facilities due to online learning formats involved as well as coursework submissions

A small contribution is required from businesses:10% of cost for businesses with under 250 employees = £136 per learner30% of cost for businesses with over 250 employees = £408 per learner
