The Level 2 Commis Chef Apprenticeship is designed for individuals working across a variety of settings, including restaurants, hotels, care homes, hospitals, military environments, and cruise ships.
The main purpose of this role is to support kitchen operations by preparing, cooking, and finishing a wide range of dishes. Apprentices gain experience by rotating through different kitchen sections, developing a broad set of culinary skills.
Catering and Hospitality students will have the opportunity to work in our award winning training restaurant, The Waterside Brasserie. The restaurant is open to the public across the week and all the food is prepared and served by our students in one of our five fully equipped industrial kitchens.
