Three computing students from MCDigital are taking their education higher in order to gain the skills to succeed in one of Teesside’s most exciting sectors.
Muhammad Asad, Tom Curry and Nabeel Hussain are all studying the BSc Computing degree at Middlesbrough College after completing their level 3 qualifications and foundation degrees at the College.
Muhammed said “I am passionate about computing and digital skills and the BSc Computing degree at Middlesbrough College has been the perfect choice to expand my knowledge. The course is challenging, engaging and relevant to the industry.
“There are so many opportunities available to computing graduates as more businesses are going digital.
“I would 100% recommend studying at Middlesbrough College and would encourage young people to consider a career in the digital industry.”
Digital Designer Tom said “Studying at Middlesbrough College has been fantastic. The tutors are very supportive and the teaching is excellent.
“I am currently studying my degree part time as I work full time as a
Digital Designer. The knowledge I am learning as part of my degree programme is relevant to the workplace and is boosting my skillset. I am especially enjoying learning more about application development and the theory behind this.”
Nabeel said “I have loved studying at Middlesbrough College and I am developing the skills I need in order to achieve my career ambition of becoming a Software Developer.
“The tutors are incredibly supportive and are always on hand to offer guidance and advice. I would definitely recommend studying here.
“The world is becoming increasingly more dependent on digital technologies and businesses are looking for creative minds, which is so exciting for a computing graduate like me!”
Computing Lecturer Cheraine Griffiths said “The three students have been incredible. They all have an amazing work ethic and I have no doubt they will go on to succeed in their careers. The whole class, which is made up of nine students are all working extremely hard and I know that they will all go on to achieve great things. ”
