Course overview

The aim of this qualification is to prepare learners to become Early Years Educators, enabling them to work with children from birth to 5 years and gain knowledge of children aged 5 to 7 years. Incorporated within the Level 3 EYE (Early Years Education) Skills Bootcamp learners will also complete a Level 2 in safeguarding within the EYE setting and Level 3 Paediatric First Aid.

This qualification includes both knowledge and skills that meet the Department for Education Early Years Educator (DfE EYE) criteria in full and map to the knowledge, skills and behaviours (KSBs) within the Early Years Educator occupational standard ST0135 in England.

If you are an employer looking to use Skills Bootcamps to train your workforce, a small contribution is required: 10% for businesses with under 250 employees and 30% for businesses with over 250 employees.
