We understand that this is a worrying time for school leavers, but we would like to reassure you that you have a place at Middlesbrough College in September. If you’re unsure of which route you’d like to go down, take the time now to browse this page and our website. Step 5: Apply

Once you have found a course that is the right fit for your career goals, we’d encourage you to apply online to secure your place for September. 

Speak to our staff via Livechat and apply to your chosen course and you could even be in with the chance of winning a £50 Amazon voucher!

Here at Middlesbrough College we are guaranteeing all applicants a place to study with us in September. We know that schools will be calculating your GCSE grades after the cancellation of exams, but please be assured that no matter what your grades are, we can help you achieve your career ambitions. Additionally if you do not get a minimum Grade 4 in Maths or English you will be able to re-sit either or both of these with your vocational qualification at college.

During our enrolment period, we will make sure all of our applicants are fully supported in starting their chosen courses at a level that is right for them.

Yes, we are still accepting online applications for full time, part time, access and higher education courses,

Our Admissions Team will process your application and you will receive email confirmation of your place. 

You may be contacted via telephone by a course tutor to discuss your application. Once the college is open you will be invited for a tour and meet the tutor of your chosen course.

Please continue with any school work you are being given to ensure you are ready for your next step into college. 

We will stay in touch with you throughout the year via email or telephone to inform you of the enrolment process. 

If you have any questions regarding your place at college, don’t forget our Schools Team are always around to answer your questions - you can email schoolsteam@mbro.ac.uk.

Teachers are working hard with awarding bodies to work out the grade they believe you were most likely to get if teaching, learning and exams had happened as planned. 

This will be based on a number of factors, including non-exam assessment, the results of any homework assignments or mock exams, and any other records of your performance over the course of study. 

Assessments for GCSE's, A-levels and access courses will be based on calculated grades.

Your teachers will work closely with the awarding body to determine the grade they believe you are most likely to achieve.

The facilities are closed at the moment but on our website and on youtube we have lots of videos of the college for you to access and see the amazing facilities we have. 

Once the college is back open you can have a tour of the building by contacting the schoolsteam@mbro.ac.uk who can book you in for a time and date that is suited to you.

In the meantime keep studying and we will be in touch with an enrolment date for you - this is usually sent out in the summer time ready for enrolment in August/September.
