“I am thoroughly enjoying my course at Middlesbrough College! The content of the course is relevant to the industry and you learn about what avenue your course could take you. There are so many careers out there relevant to sport that I did not think about before studying here.
“The support we receive from our teachers is great, they are always more than happy to help you when needed. They also open up many opportunities for you and as a result, I have been able to get some work experience coaching at a local table tennis club.
“One of the main reasons I decided to study at Middlesbrough College was because of the Sports Academy and the facilities that are available to us. I would encourage anyone leaving school that is interested in sport to read up on the academies and look around the facilities. The College itself is a friendly environment and a great place to meet new friends.
“Following my course my ambitions are to represent Great Britain at the Paralympics.”
