Important Enrolment Information

For All Courses

What if I have changed my mind about my course?

If you have changed your mind regarding the course for which you would like to enrol, you should be able to enrol on your new choice course online via our website or alternatively, you can contact our Admissions Department on 01642 333601 or email admissions@mbro.ac.uk, who will arrange for you to talk to a specialist tutor to provide further advice and guidance about your preferred course.

If I am required to complete part of my enrolment onsite how long will it take?

Please allow for between 1 to 2 hours to fully complete the onsite part of the enrolment process.  On arrival you will be greeted by a member of the team and given information and directions.  You will meet with your course tutor and receive information regarding your chosen course and details about induction week.  You may be asked to complete an assessment which will allow us to ensure you are enrolled on the appropriate level of the course and arrange any support should you need it.

Financial Support

If your household income is below £25,000 you may be eligible for financial support.  Please visit our Financial Support information on the website for eligibility criteria and to find out how to apply (www.mbro.ac.uk/student-services/financial-support).

Alternatively, you may wish to consider an Advanced Learner Loan (ALL).  These government-backed loans are available to help learners aged 19 and over pay their fees for eligible courses at Levels 3 to 6.

If you are aged 19 to 23, you may be entitled to full funding of your course if you have not already achieved a full Level 3 qualification.  If you are unsure if this applies to you, please contact Student Services on 01642 333606 or telephone the National Careers Service on 0800 100 900 to discuss further.  The National Careers Service advisers can help identify where you might access this funding and for which courses.
