September – June

There are no formal qualifications required, however you are expected to express an interest and enthusiasm for the Health and Care industry.

You will be continuously assessed using a variety of different methods.

You can progress onto a Level 1 Health and Care course.

You will not have to pay tuition fees if you are under 19 on 31 August in the year of your entry to the course.

All full time students will be offered a number of options to secure at least 70 hours of meaningful work experience during the year. This is an important aspect of the course and will help to develop your skills to get a job or progress to a higher level qualification at Middlesbrough College.
