Course overview
This course will provide you with an introduction to the aviation, travel and tourism industry. You will develop the core knowledge and skills needed for a successful career in travel and aviation and find out what life is life in the industry. The course covers customer service, planning trips to visitor attractions and travel destinations, how to recommend holidays, the difference between different types of airline, the role of cabin crew and holiday reps, how to manage your rights and responsibilities in the workplace and building working relationships with customers and colleagues.

Travel, tourism & aviation students will have the opportunity to work in an on-site simulated aircraft cabin complete with seats, drinks, duty free trolleys and emergency life jackets. They will also benefit from our partnership with Swissport International, providing exclusive access to training at Teesside and other UK airports!
