September – June

You must have achieved an appropriate Level 2 vocational qualification and/ or four GCSEs at grade 4/5 (C) or above.

You will be assessed through assignments, projects, observations of practical work, rehearsals and performance.

Past students have progressed to study degrees in performing arts, musical theatre, acting, dance, drama, theatre studies and education.

Past students have progressed to a number of stage schools such as East 15, Central School of Speech and Drama, LIPA, Laine Theatre Arts, Bird College, Urdang, London School of Contemporary Dance, Rambert, SLP, LAMDA, Mountview and many more.

Tuition fees are free if you are a UK or home- fee status student and aged 16-18 on the 31st August before the start of your course.

If you are aged 19 or over, you may be required to pay fees depending on your residency status, educational background and personal circumstances.

All full time students will be offered a number of options to secure at least 10 days of meaningful work experience during the year. This is an important aspect of the course and will help to develop your skills to get a job, progress to a higher level qualification at Middlesbrough College or potentially gain a place at university.
