Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair – Level 2

September – June

You must have achieved an appropriate Level 1 vocational qualification and/or GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above including maths, English language and science.

You will be assessed through online tests, workshop activities and set assignments.

Upon successful completion, students can progress onto the IMI Diploma, Level 3 Extended Diploma in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (QCF).

Tuition fees are free if you are a UK or home-fee status student and aged 16-18 on the 31st August before the start of your course.

All full time students will be offered a number of options to secure at least 10 days of meaningful work experience during the year. This is an important aspect of the course and will help to develop your skills to get a job, progress to a higher level qualification at Middlesbrough College or potentially gain a place at university.
