For motor vehicle technicians working on mobile air conditioning systems containing F gas refrigerants who want to gain a licence to handle refrigerants in compliance with the minimum requirements of Regulation (EC) 307/2008.

This Defra-approved qualification offers a single unit solution that provides experienced automotive Mobile Air Conditioning (MAC) technicians with evidence that they meet the minimum F-gas requirement (EC842/2006 and annex EC307/2008).

This course will cover:

Refrigerant handling
Mobile air conditioning principles
System servicing

Explore Motor Vehicle

Motor Vehicle students will have access to our fully-equipped motor vehicle service unit which is based on main dealer standards. Here, they will gain practical skills in a wide variety of vehicles using up-to-date equipment and diagnostic tools and develop theoretical knowledge using custom built training rigs and interactive resources.
