You must have achieved 96 UCAS tariff points from an appropriate Level 3 qualification (NVQ 3, BTEC Award, A Level or T Level).

You are also required to have GCSE grades 9-4 (A*-C) in English and maths or equivalent or have demonstrated adequate skills and competencies in an interview.

Those enrolling as an apprentice on the Level 5 Audiovisual Technician standard may do so without a Level 3 qualification providing there is evidence of experience in audio-visual technology and completion of fundamental academic skills modules

You will be assessed through formative assessments to help develop your academic skills as well as several forms of summative assessment including a range of audiovisual media, written assignments, reports, and presentations.

You can progress onto the BSc (Hons) Audiovisual Technology one-year top-up degree to achieve a full honours award.

Fees payable directly to Middlesbrough College: £8,500 per year.
