Levels include:
Entry 3 (E3) – qualifications designed for adults with no or little prior experience of using digital devices or the internet.
Level 1 (L1) – qualifications designed for adults with some experience of using digital devices and the internet but lacking secure basic digital skills.
The qualifications cover all five National Standard skills areas. These are as follows:
1.Using devices and handling information
Using a range of devices, finding information through appropriate navigation, managing and storing information, identifying and solving technical problems, developing digital skills.
2.Creating and editing
Creating and editing documents, creating and editing digital media, processing numerical data (L1).
3.Communicating
Communicating and sharing content digitally, managing your traceable online activities.
4.Transactions
Safely and securely using online services, securely buying online.
5.Being safe and responsible online
Protecting your privacy, protecting your data, being responsible online and managing your digital wellbeing.

These courses can be completed alongside other qualifications, such as Functional Skills and GCSE English and Maths and an Access to HE course.
