This Scholarship is based on a vocational competence qualification is to provide recognition that a learner has demonstrated the required level of technical competence to support engineering activities and operations on projects in sectors such as engineering, manufacturing, construction, infrastructure, pharmaceuticals, utilities, transport and defence in Pipefitting. Upon completion a learner will undertake a work placement with a view to apprenticeships /employment with an ECITB “in scope” employer who is dedicated to this program. As a scholarship there is a £60 a week bursary based on attendance and progression awarded by ECITB.
