This programme will give students the fundamental knowledge, transferable skills and behaviours within a business workplace. This programme will have a dedicated pathway to be successful within business, more specifically retail and hospitality.
When studying this course, students will gain knowledge on how businesses operate daily whether it be in an office setting or hands on within a customer service role. The course will include social action projects to allow students to build upon their soft skills that they can use in their life and future career. These skills include communication and interpersonal skills, team building skills, leadership, problem solving and time management skills.
This will also be supported by MC Thrive which is our hidden curriculum within the college that gives an insight into the local area and support modern Britain through visiting topics such as British values, prevent, knife crime, drug and alcohol awareness. Thrive will also include sessions on CV building to help students get into employment which will further develop their skill set and build character.
