Diploma in Food and Beverage Supervision – Level 3

• Supervising Customer Service
• Bar and Cocktail Service
• Supervising an Event
• Cooking Food in front of Customers
• Marketing and Promoting Hospitality Products
• Prepare and Serve Wines
• Provide Advice to Customers on Food and Beverage Matching

September – June

You must have achieved an appropriate Level 2 vocational qualification and/or five GCSEs at grade 4/5 (C) or above.

You will be assessed through observation (with appropriate witness testimony), short online testing and on-going assignments.

University Opportunities

Past students have progressed to study in degrees in hospitality management. You can also apply for a higher apprenticeship in hospitality management.

Career Opportunities

These include management, catering, the fast food industry, hotel management and event management.

The College Careers Service is available to all our students. We can help you when deciding which course or option you wish to take. During your course we ensure you develop employability skills and gain relevant experience. We provide information, advice and support when completing your course and progressing to work or going into further education.

Tuition fees are free if you are a UK or home-fee status student and aged 16-18 on the 31st August before the start of your course.

You will be required to gain sector experience by attending work placement for at least 30 hours over the duration of the programme. Full PPE will be required during placement.
