BA (Hons) Early Childhood Professional Studies (Top-up) – Full Time – Level 6

• Leading and Managing in the Childhood Professions
• Historical Context of Children’s Literature and its Impact in the 21st Century
• Assessing Children’s Needs in the Multi-agency Environment
• Independent Research Project

Applicants should have a related qualification at Level 5 (a Foundation Degree or equivalent). There will be an interview for all applicants with the programme leader. Successful candidates should hold qualifications in English language and mathematics to at least GCSE grade 4 or above (A-C) or demonstrate adequate skills and competencies.

Non-standard entrants are interviewed to assess their ability to complete the course, including a review of their professional experience and training gained in the workplace.

You will be assessed through a variety of assessment methods, including, essays, presentations, research tasks, projects and case studies.

Gaining a degree in childhood professional studies enables career progression within all aspects of professional childcare.
