“I am really enjoying studying my Music Practice course at Middlesbrough College and I would 100% recommend studying here! The support I have received is great and the course is helping to build my confidence. 

“I started playing music when I was just 6 years old and I was gifted my first guitar. Now I go around the local area and play gigs for the public, this includes weddings and conventions. The Music Practice course at Middlesbrough College is helping me to develop my skillset to become a professional musician. 

“I am especially enjoying the practical elements of the course and I believe that this is helping me gain the skills I need make my career dream a reality. The course has also allowed me to have a range of work experience opportunities including performing for the public last year.

“I decided to study at Middlesbrough College because their music department is the best in the region. The facilities are also second to none! I can’t fault anything.

“I have a Facebook page where I put all of my upcoming gigs and events, this can be found by searching JOE on Facebook. During the pandemic it has been difficult as I’ve not been able to perform live, however, I now perform livestreams on my Facebook page and I hope that they are bringing joy to people during lockdown!”
