“I wasn’t expecting to achieve 3 A grades in my A Levels! I’m delighted to be going to Newcastle University to study for a degree in Media, Communications and Journalism. I want to work in the media sector in journalism or production once I’ve completed my degree.

“The skills I have learnt during my A Levels have given me an excellent foundation to build upon at University. I’ve absolutely loved studying A Levels at Middlesbrough College, I’ve loved the culture and the atmosphere at MC6! I feel respected by all my teachers and I’ve been treated as an adult whilst studying here. Everyone has mutual respect for each other which is something I really love. I have been supported to an exceptional standard, especially during the pandemic. All my tutors kept checking in with me and never left me in the dark. I got everything I needed and more to help me achieve the results I wanted! I always had work to do and the support and communication was always there.

“My advice to anyone considering studying A levels is to go to as many taster sessions as you can and to attend your induction! Also talk to your tutors and friends- they will help you! I have loved studying here and I couldn’t have come to a better college. I’m leaving with good grades and great friends too.”
