Aimee Hunt
Aimee Hunt, ESF Project Administrator at Middlesbrough College is helping employers access the funding they need to upskill their learners for free, through the Ambition Tees project.
“ I started working at the college in November and love my job, speaking with different employers every day and helping them get to grips with what funding is available to them.
“A lot of businesses aren’t aware of the grants available so it’s great when we can support.”
Aimee’s job mainly focuses on ensuring all of the paperwork that processes funding claims for employers across multiple ESF projects is up to date and correct, she works closely with employers to ensure the process is as smooth as possible.
“ I need to speak with both the learner and the employer to guide them through the process and also be a key point of contact should they have any questions.”
“ I love that no day is the same – I like talking to new people and this is the perfect job for it!”
The Ambition Tees project supports Tees Valley SME’s with their training needs and provides them with fully-funded programmes to upskill their current workforce.
