Overview

This Top up degree course aims to recruit students who have a desire to work with young people, adults or families in a range of different professional environments and organisations. It aims to provide opportunities for students to identify and evaluate key concepts in understanding human and social needs, explore core social policy issues and critically evaluate professional, cultural and ethical aspects of leadership and research. At level 6 the modules studied will have a grounding in practical work-based settings despite leaning a little more towards academic themes.
