This course will prepare you for industry, teaching you the basic skills needed to progress onto a Level 2 Hairdressing/ Beauty course.


If you follow the Beauty route you will cover basic manicure treatments, nail art application, skincare, makeup and health and safety.

Entry requirements

You must have achieved 3 GCSE’s 1-3 (G-D) including English.

You will be assessed through 5 assignments, 2 exams minimum and completed porfolio of practical assessments.

Following the beauty route you can progress onto the Level 2 Certificate for Beauty Therapy.

You will not have to pay tuition fees if you are under 19 on 31 August in the year of your entry to the course. You must also satisfy UK / EEA residency rules. If you are over 19 or have any questions regarding residency rules, please contact (01642) 333587.

You will also have to purchase a kit and uniform. The kit is priced at £254.60 and uniform is priced at £21.60
