Overview

This course will provide you with a grounding in media. You will study a wide range of units to reflect the range of opportunities available within the creative media sector.

The course will provide you with an understanding of media through engagement with media products, production processes and technologies. This leads to the application of practical and creative skills that transfer easily into the workplace.

September - June

Entry requirements

Internal progression from a Level 1 Creative Media qualification or you must have achieved four GCSEs at grade 3 (D) or above.

All work will be assessed through coursework and portfolio production – there will be no written examination.

You can progress onto the Creative Media Technical Diploma Level 3 course. It is also possible to progress onto apprenticeship and employment.

Tuition fees are free if you are a UK or home- fee status student and aged 16-18 on the 31st August before the start of your course.

If you are aged 19 or over, you may be required to pay fees depending on your residency status, educational background and personal circumstances.
