  • Health and Safety in the Building Services Engineering
  • Principles of Electrical Science
  • Electrical Installation Technology
  • Installation of Wiring Systems and Enclosures

2 Days per week

Entry requirements

You must have achieved 4 GCSE at grade 3 (D) or above including maths, English language & science or Level 1 Electro Technical Craft.

Progressing students must also have a Level 1 Functional Skills in maths.

You will be assessed by on-demand multiple choice tests and a summative practical assessment.

Retrain to Electrical Installation - Level 3

If you are aged 19 or over, you may be required to pay fees depending on your residency status, educational background and personal circumstances. Many people qualify for free tuition fees,

Level 2 Entitlement: If you are aged 19 - 23 on the start date of the course and this is your first full Level 2 qualification, the course is free if you are studying for an entry or Level 1
qualification (except Basic Skills) where a step from Basic Skills is needed in order to progress to a first full Level 2 course or this is a first full Level 2 qualification.

You only need to apply once for A Level programmes. After receiving your application form you will be invited to attend an informal interview where you will have a chance to discuss which specific A Level subjects you would like to enrol on.

Construction

Explore Construction

Construction students will have the opportunity to work in state of the art workshops, and have access to a real life outdoor construction site. This realistic work environment allows students to gain practical experience in constructing a single story dwelling which is built from foundations up to the roof.
