Overview

This technical qualification has been developed in collaboration with employers and businesses so that the content meets the needs of industry and prepares you for work. T Levels will offer you a mixture of classroom learning and ‘on-the-job’ experience during an industry placement of at least 315 hours (approximately 45 days). They will provide the knowledge and experience needed to open the door into skilled employment, further study or a higher apprenticeship within the related field.

This course is aimed at anyone with a desire to pursue a career in the Digital Industry, specialising in networking, digital infrastructure and digital support.

The technical qualification is split into 2 component parts:

Core component: the knowledge and underpinning concepts, theories and principles as well as core skills for the digital sector.

Occupational specialisms:

• Networking

You will only complete one occupational specialism.

The occupational specialism will provide you with knowledge and skills required to enter employment or further study in the specific occupational area.

Entry requirements

You must have achieved an appropriate Level 2 vocational qualification and /or four GCSEs at grade 4/5 (C) or above including English and maths at a grade 5.
