Overview
T-Levels give the knowledge and experience to go into employment or higher
education. 3 days will be spent in the classroom, developing underpinning
knowledge and theory. Units in the core first year will include: behaviour,
child development, equality and diversity, parents, families and carers, and
safeguarding, health and well-being. In the 2nd year you will specialise
in Assisting Teaching which will support you in your future pathway.
You will also attend work placement with a local employer to gain valuable
industry work experience and develop skills for 1 or 2 days per week.
You will study different units from across the Childcare sector for age
ranges 0-19 years.
The course carries full UCAS points.
